Default nVidia GeForce 2 MX

All in all, i can play Guild Wars with middle settings, its occasionally choppy, and the terrain isnt quite as beautiful as I wish it were, but thats all acceptable.
The one thing that gets to me is the cursor... it's not shown correctly on the screen, and it messes with the sound when i move the cursor. It can become quite irritating.
Full specs:
1.7GHz
768MB Ram
70Gbs
nVidia GeForce 2 MX 64MB

I was wondering if anyone else is even trying to run GW on such a crap graphics card, and even if there isnt, anyone have any suggestions about getting the cursor to work properly?

I can't believe the game even runs on that thing.....what you are experiencing is called lag...there's nothing(aside from upgrading the video card) that you can do about it.

I second Algren Cole because GeForce 2 MX graphic cards are the ones I use at work to install to the spare Dell 4100's running on Pentium 2. I wouldn't know how to explain the sound problems, but I do suggest upgrading!

the sound is lag as well...you're running out of buffer on your video card RAM so it's pooling into your system RAM...the sound however can't do this...and thus it scratches or skips while it's waiting for the buffer to clean out.

Yep I've experienced that problem a lot on other games when I had a Geforce 2 MX. I was so glad when I upgraded my card.

I play Guild Wars on a GeForce 2 32MB, on my work PC. Its laggy, but by all means playable.
